Our company, officially Özsay Gemi Endüstrisi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi, has been established by a group of Naval Architects & Marine Engineers in 1998 at Istanbul as a private design & engineering company with supports and guidance of respectable late Mr. Recep Kalkavan.
Until 2003 our company has been involved in theoretical/ initial calculations and basic ship design studies as well as technical management of existing ships of various ship owners.
All engineering services have been appreciated by serious shipping companies and shipyards and our company has been awarded by contracts for new building projects steadily.
Following to company’s moving to Tuzla Shipbuilding Area, one of critical service for the shipbuilding market, “supervision of construction” has been commenced at owners’ request, especially for the foreign ship owners having orders at Turkish shipyards, to ensure the quality of production with “continuous” superintendence at site. In principles, all efforts of site team are paid for the “prevention of defects” which is obviously preferable to additional quality inspections and corrections in all respect.
Our company, with thanks to its valuable clients and well educated / experienced staff, still provides its innovative and reliable tailor-made solutions in engineering/design, supervision and consultancy fields with the philosophy of the first day of establishment and the experience gained by numerous realized projects.
